Section 363
Period during which the succession arrangement will remain

(1) The arrangement of sustenance shall be maintained for the period mentioned in the contract.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the usufruct shall not be in force for more than the following period unless otherwise specified in the contract:-
(a) in the case of a natural person being a beneficiary, the period of fifty-nine years from the date of his death or the completion of the succession arrangement, whichever is earlier,
(b) If a legal person is a beneficiary, the period from the dissolution of such person or the completion of thirty-nine years from the existence of the succession arrangement, whichever is earlier. Explanation: For the purposes of this section, "dissolution" means dissolution, liquidation, deregistration or liquidation of a legal person.
(3) In the case of more than one person being a beneficiary, unless otherwise stated in the contract, the property of the beneficiary shall be transferred to the owner in proportion to the death or dissolution of any beneficiary.
